The National D-Day Memorial joins museums nationwide in the Blue Star Museums initiative, a program that provides free admission to currently-serving U.S. military personnel and their families. The 2024 season runs Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 18, 2024 to Labor Day, Monday, September 3, 2024. The Memorial is open daily, 10AM-5PM. The 80th Anniversary of D-Day will be observed in a special ceremony at the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, Virginia. Program highlights include a recognition of veterans, guest speakers, dignitaries, music, flyovers, and more.
