On Sunday, September 12, Grandparents accompanied by a grandchild can enjoy free admission to the National D-Day Memorial with the purchase of a student admission. Special activities at the memorial will celebrate grandparents while also introducing children to the World War II era. Interactive presentations in the Memorial’s authentic military tent, crafts, and Victory Garden lessons are just some of the day’s activities.
