During certain winter months, (primarily January, February, and the first half of March), the Memorial's invasion tableau is drained for seasonal system maintenance.  If you wish to see the invasion pool with water, it is recommended you visit late March thru November.  To determine whether or not the pool is operating, you can also call 540-587-3619.


Memorial Hours: Open Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Closed on Christmas Day, New Years Day, and Thanksgiving Day. Openings before or after normal operating hours by special arrangement for additional fees.  Click here or see Special Openings link for more information.

Foundation Office Hours: Open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Closed on Christmas Day, New Years Day, and Thanksgiving Day; other holiday closings may occur. When in doubt, telephone to confirm opening before visiting the Foundation Office. 540-586-3329.
