JOB OVERVIEW
The Associate Director of Marketing is responsible for planning, developing and implementing marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal in support fo Foundation objectives. This position requires a highly organized, self-motivated individual with tremendous initiative, capable of successfully promoting the National D-Day Memorial and directing development-led special events. The ADM must demonstrate the ability to exercise sound judgement, work independently or collaboratively as the situation dictates, and will be held accountable for achieving desired outcomes. All duties are to be performed in accordance with the policies and procedures of the National D-Day Memorial Foundation. 
  • Responsible for creating, implementing, and measuring success of:  A comprehensive marketing, communications, and public relations program that will enhance the Foundation's image and position within the marketplace and the general public.Facilitating internal and external communications. The Founation's marketing, communications and public relations activities and materials including publications, advertisements, media relations, etc.
  • Responsible for editorial direction, design, production and distribution of all publications and advertisements. 
  • Act as the Foundation's representative with the media. 
  • Leads the Foundation's special events efforts such as the Annual Golf Classic and other development-led events. 
  • Develop short- and long-term plans and budgets for the marketing program and its activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance.
  • Recommend, implement, and maintain website design and operation.

Title: Visitor Services Assistant
Department: Site Operations
Reports to: Site Operations Manager
Classification: Regular, Part-Time
Weekends/Holidays: Weekends and Holidays required as scheduled

JOB OVERVIEW
The National D-Day Memorial is an outdoor facility, open seven (7) days per week. Visitor Services Assistant(s) (VSA) support the organizational mission by performing a variety of duties related to overall Memorial Site Operations under the supervision of the Site Operations Manager. This is an entry level, customer service position requiring superior interpersonal and customer service skills. Duties include but are not limited to providing information to visitors, ensuring valid entry to the Memorial site, providing retail assistance, coordinating and conducting tours, as well as performing administrative tasks as assigned by management. The VSA must exhibit the ability to exercise sound judgement, work independently as well as with others, and provide customer service and administrative support in accordance with the policies and procedures of the National D-Day Memorial Foundation.
