Virtual Scout Day 2021

As we continue to follow state and national guidelines related to COVID-19 and with a desire to keep your children safe, the National D-Day Memorial Foundation will transition Scout Day 2021 to a virtual event.

$5 Admission for Scouts and Scout Leaders

Each ticket includes:

  • Scout Day patch
  • Live virtual program with D-Day staff exploring the role of scouts in WWII
  • Live virtual tour of the Memorial
  • Downloadable activity packet

ON SATURDAY, MARCH 27, WE HAVE TWO PROGRAM AND TOUR TIMES AVAILABLE:

  • 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. EST
  • 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. EST

Using Zoom, scouts will begin with a live interactive program sharing about how scouts contributed to the war effort in World War II and then transition to a live guided tour of the Memorial.

Merit Badge Programs

For an additional $5, scouts can register for a virtual merit badge program via Zoom that will be held on Saturday, March 27. Scouts must sign up for Virtual Scout Day 2021 to participate in the virtual merit badge programs. Capacity is limited to 100 scouts per merit badge program.

  • Girl Scouts- Cadettes: Comic Artist (11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. EST)
  • Boy Scouts: Citizenship in the Nation (3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. EST)
