Educator Open House

Teachers, are you looking for new ideas to supplement your WWII curriculum? The National D-Day Memorial is hosting an Educator Open House to showcase our in-person, virtual, and distance learning educational programming for students of all ages.

This opportunity is open to all public, private, and homeschool co-op teachers. All attendees will be entered into a raffle for the opportunity to win a free in-person or virtual field trip for 25 or less students or a discount on in-person or virtual field trip worth $125.

Zoom: Thursday, September 3, 2020
4:00 to 4:45 p.m.

This 45-minute session will cover each programming opportunity and provide time for questions at the end. This is limited to 100 teachers.

In-Person: Thursday, September 10, 2020
3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

During the open house, teachers can explore the different opportunities available for educational programming within our brand-new Education Quonset Hut. Masks will be required and teachers must sign up for a 30 minute time slot to ensure social distancing. Each time slot is limited to 20 teachers and available on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Registration is required for both options. Registration ends Monday, September 7 for the in-person open house.
