On your 45-minute guided virtual tour, a National D-Day Memorial guide will lead you in real-time through the Memorial using Zoom. Your guide will give you an up-close and personal view of the Memorial while telling stories of the men and women who made the invasion of Normandy, France on June 6, 1944 not only possible, but successful.
For Fall 2020, we are launching Student Live Virtual tours tailored to the following grade levels: K-3rd grades, 4th-8th grades, and high school. These tours will include interactive Q&A, as well as reflective and critical thinking questions posed throughout the tour.
$7 per device. Free for Overlord Society and D-Day Society members.
After you purchase your ticket, you will receive a link that allows you to access the tour in your order confirmation. Please plan to join us via this link 5 to 10 minutes prior to the tour start time. Once you join, you will be placed in a waiting room. You will temporarily wait here until the National D-Day Memorial begins the tour.
Because the National D-Day Memorial is an outdoor site, we cannot rule out the possibility of inclement weather which would result in the cancellation of a virtual tour for the safety of our guides. In the event of inclement weather, you will be sent an email with a promo code to choose a later virtual tour date.
If you need technical support either with connecting via Zoom or with technical issues during the guided virtual tour, please consult the Zoom help center: https://support.Zoom.us/hc/en-us. Memorial guides are unable to answer technical support questions during the guided virtual tour.
