Private Rentals
The National D-Day Memorial has several spaces available for hosting private and corporate events or meetings and military ceremonies. Given the nature of the National D-Day Memorial, certain types of events are not allowed, including weddings and wedding receptions.
Fleda A. Ring Education Quonset Hut
This indoor space offers a variety of set up options for your event. The space can accommodate 30 guests in a classroom setting or 60 guests in a theater style arrangement, making it an ideal spot for your team meeting or training session. Audio-visual equipment is available for this space.
Bobbie G. Johnson Pavilion
With set up styles that can accommodate up to 175 people, this open-air pavilion is the perfect setting for military or family reunions or picnics. Audio-visual equipment is available for this space.
Memorial Site (Overlord Arch or Gray Plaza)
With its breathtaking architecture and statuary, along with views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Memorial is the perfect space for an open-air event. Overlord Arch is limited to 50 guests, while Gray Plaza allows for gatherings of 200 or more. These spaces are only available outside of regular operating hours. Audio equipment is available for use throughout the Memorial.
